What These Brand New Best Friends Have In Common Left Me Crying Over My Keyboard

Three-year-old Sapphyre Johnson was born with a congenital condition that led to her losing both of her feet. She”s been living at the hospital ever since she was just three months old, but when a Hospital Child Life Specialist got word that a German Shepherd breeder had contacted the hospital with a request to find a home for a special pup…Sapphyre fell in love. Though she”s young, she knew that he needed a friend just like her.

Other than being born with two fingers on each hand, and having her feet amputated, Sapphyre is a totally healthy three-year-old girl.
